I have now ordered support p/n 996 106 415 55 from PET illustration 105-05, It. 6. At least it is in the right location, though the illustration does not look like the right part. Will advise upon receipt.

Rockhouse,

Will hit you up on PM, but I pulled one from my parts car, that I will send you for free, but it is part #996 355 545 00. You can get it here: http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-9...4500-srch.html

Here's the one I pulled from my parts car.

Kris

I can take it from here. That p/n is not in my stack of recently purchased (wrong) clips nor is it on the list of next likely suspects that I was planning to order. Sure looks like the right part though.

Since one of these lines may be the vacuum for the brakes, I can see where the clip could be listed there. But they sure don't show one in the location in the engine compartment.

Thanks a ton for the help!!

I am pleased to close this thread out by reporting that ordering p/n 996 355 545 00 will, indeed, produce the required bracket. Thanks for all the help guys.
