I have up for sale, a nice set of 997 sport seats. The seats are power recline and manual front/back, manual up/down.

The bottom rails have been modified per the thread below to fit 928, 993 and other models with similar mounting structures. If you wanted to put them back into a 997, you would need a new/used set of rails (bottoms). Also they will come with belt buckle that fits 928 belts (and maybe others), the original 997 buckles will be included in the sale as well.

The passenger seat has a small repair in the center of the bottom cushion. Not very noticeable but full disclosure. The plastic seat backs have been painted satin black. Slight scratching on the backs, under the paint, not very noticeable. Light wear on the drivers bolster, very light.

They are not perfect but Id say 7.5 out of 10. Ive tried to price them accordingly at $1,500.00 obo. Local buyer preferred in Southern CA, but willing to ship if you arrange for packaging, shipping and the associated fees. PM or email joshua_handler@hotmail.com

Are these the seats out of Tony's old Minerva blue 928? I'm interested if you'll do them shipped at that price.

Alternatively, how about a trade? I have very nice 12-way 928 GTS seats and good OB 6-way 928 seats, both in black leather. OBs would be even swap, GTS ones I'd need yours plus $500.

Petza where abouts would I be shipping too? I'll look into shipping options but I'm hoping to have someone pick them up. They are not Tony's seats, but thats where I got the idea from to install them in my 928. Great write up for the easy modification in the 993 forum for anyone who's interested. I'm going to miss these seats but I really just need the space. And while they are not perfect, they are very nice with very little wear, and I'm not tied to any number so some may be surprised at what offer I may accept. Unfortunately I'm not interested in trade, but thank you, I'm trying to have less seats These would look sweet in your drop-top 928

Yes, they would - in fact they already do as I have the same seats in my 928 already and wrapped the backs in CF vinyl.




I have other plans for yours. Check into shipping them via Greyhound freight, terminal to terminal in a wardrobe box. My terminal would be the one in Anderson, SC. My home zip code is 29672 if you're looking into other options.
