Continuous whining noise
Any noticed this continuous whining noise after engine shut off! It's not the alarm beeping sound discussed before. It almost sounds like a pump, relatively loud, it goes on for sometime after engine shut off. Any thoughts?

Does it sound like an electric fan running at high speed? Does it shut off immediately if you raise the rear bonnet?
The electric fans under the (rear) bonnet will run after the engine is shut off under certain conditions. Those conditions are likely intake and/or intercooler temperature over a threshold. If they always after-run even when it is cold outside and you are driving like a grandma, then you have an issue (likely with a temperature sensor.)

Three Wheelin'
There are a lot of fans and pumps running inside the bowels of the car to continue cooling various bits and pieces. It will stop once the component temps are down and is not a specific problem.
