My 996 is one of my favorite cars that I own. Absolutely love the look when it is lowered. In this picture it has MkII GT3 wheels which I also love.
Here is a picture of my 996 Aero with MkII bumper. Adding the MkII rear transformed the look of the car....flows so well with the rockers. The car was also just repainted a year ago to clean up the track patina. Right next to sits my 993 Aero. While it is factory aero, the car was not shipped from factory that way. I plan to put it back to stock next year and keep the kit if I get bored and put it back again.
Another great view with Cargraphic wheels. De-ambering the lights made a huge difference in the look. Have been playing with tinting the headlights yellow.

Great looking car!
I have the same wheels and really like them!
Nice...first time I have seen them on another car. Looks great on your car. I use them for winter and use MkII GT3 wheels for the track during the summer. Much easier to clean!

Let's start a 996 Aero Kit Picture thread anybody care to join? Here's my 1999 996 aero kit with boxster red interior
I just bought the OP's old car, and then found it here on Rennlist. It sits at 162k now, will be getting it delivered next week. First 911, but I'm educated in the pitfalls of 996 ownership. Excited to put a few thousand more miles, and some track days on it.
Weird coincidence, Gator, who posted a picture of his aerokit right below the OP, sold his car to my friend Kris Murphy. They will be reunited IRL next week.
Interior will likely be for sale shortly if anyone is interested in full leather Boxster Red with Carbon trim.
