It's the aero kit bumper , very similar to the GT3 bumper.

OK, somehow it looked different than the others, but it might have been the angle or lighting. Thanks

My 996 is one of my favorite cars that I own. Absolutely love the look when it is lowered. In this picture it has MkII GT3 wheels which I also love.

Here is a picture of my 996 Aero with MkII bumper. Adding the MkII rear transformed the look of the car....flows so well with the rockers. The car was also just repainted a year ago to clean up the track patina. Right next to sits my 993 Aero. While it is factory aero, the car was not shipped from factory that way. I plan to put it back to stock next year and keep the kit if I get bored and put it back again.

Another great view with Cargraphic wheels. De-ambering the lights made a huge difference in the look. Have been playing with tinting the headlights yellow.

So I've been looking through this thread and searching for Aero kits, but I'm somewhat confused as to what Aero kit options there is for the 996.2.

Is there a vendor on here who sells them? Is there only one option or a few? I read something about GT2 or GT3 kits. Thanks guys!

Nice...first time I have seen them on another car. Looks great on your car. I use them for winter and use MkII GT3 wheels for the track during the summer. Much easier to clean!

so many aero kits - love it!

I haven't seen another car with the C4S specific factory-aero like mine.... how rare is it?

I know it was way to damn expensive an option when new - so a lotta folks didn't check that box.

I just bought the OP's old car, and then found it here on Rennlist. It sits at 162k now, will be getting it delivered next week. First 911, but I'm educated in the pitfalls of 996 ownership. Excited to put a few thousand more miles, and some track days on it.

Weird coincidence, Gator, who posted a picture of his aerokit right below the OP, sold his car to my friend Kris Murphy. They will be reunited IRL next week.

Interior will likely be for sale shortly if anyone is interested in full leather Boxster Red with Carbon trim.
