Default Wire harness rebuild

Ok my wire harness connector replacement project turned into a complete overhaul. I just couldn't stop cutting crappy wires out. Once i got the old insulation off it was pretty easy to trace the wires and tackle one section at a time. I am just going to replace the wires all together and splice them in behind the snorkel. Going to stop by the electronics store and try and source some braided shielded 2 conductor wire for the reference and speed sensors. Also may run my maf ground and splice that directly into one of my new ground wires, i figure with them new they oughta have good ground for my maf. Its not so scary as some may think and once i get the rest of supplies together ill have it done in next couple days. Knock sensor connector with heat protection.
Tps wires on left. 6 conductor wire with shielding, it happened the colors match i jyst pulled the extra wire out.
Pulled new tps wires through snorkel soldered together.

Completed tps section
New ground wire and tps splice
Ground wire
Braided split loom for the diag connector and square plug.

Made some progress today, got the section for oil sensors rewired, one of the reference sensors, dme temp sensor, finished other chassis ground. Just have the other reference sensor the coolant temperature leads the afm wires then tidy everything up and check fitment! Reference sensor. I found a 2 conductor sheilded wire with seperate ground cable inside, it should work well.
A bunch of awful looking old connectors. This is what's in your car if you've never updated your harness.
Oil sensor leads. Just used a female bullet for the level sender. Better than what was on there.

Got wire harness into the firewall. Going to replace idle valve and oas hose with more flexible silicone, and reposition the idle valve. Also found my knock sensor ohms out at 200k, which is low.

Success! Got everything back together and after fixing maf wire it fired right up, even though its only 7 degrees. Just have to tidy up a couple vacuum lines bleed coolant and go for test drive.
