Default EVOMS Intake in a 997.1 C2S

New to me used EVOMS Intake. Install is as simple as it gets but I am not certain what happens to the vacuum line that was attached to the stock air box. Does it get plugged and the associated electrical sensor and wiring get tied off out of the way?
What did you do with these components? Does anyone have instructions that came with your kit you can send me for reference?

Thank you!

Yes and yes to your first question(s)...at least that's what I did, good bad or indifferent. The vacuum line controls the valve in the stock intake. No need for the vacuum line after install of the aftermarket intake which does not have the valve. (There's is a formal name for the type of valuein the stock intake that slips me....I'm sure somebody else will chime in.)

Thanks Batman33. I'm also making bracket at the front of the box to mount it. The one it came with seems to put it too close to a pulley. I remember someone posting a repair of an EVOMS box after the pulley ate into it. Did you have any fitment issues out of the box?

You're welcome, BF951. I had no fitment issues out of the box.

Try flipping the bracket around and see if that helps with fitment. One leg is slightly longer than the other. If that doesn't, please take a picture and send it to me at sstone@evoms.com. We've been selling this kit forever and there shouldn't be any issues with it.

Hi Sam. When I took the front mount bracket off I noticed the unequal arms lengths. While flipping the bracket put clearance a bit much in the other direction that orientation did allow me to drill another hole and I ended up with a fantastic fit.
Very happy with the outcome. Great product!
I really appreciate that you noticed this thread and jumped in to assist.

Lip, just took these this morning. I think this is what you are looking for. I added a rubber grommet between the bracket and chassis and small pieces under the airbox while keeping the drain holes open.

In that last photo it looks like the air inlet in the deck lid does not line up over the airbox. It's just a bad angle, it lines up perfectly.

Bits of snow and ice in the NE part of PA lately, have not had it out. Warming up to 45 today so I hope to check out the sound.

The change was minor but a very nice enhancement to the Gundo hack modification I made two years ago. An unexpected but very welcome side benefit.

This and Gundo are on the list. Are you going to do the IPD?

Yes, that is next on the list. I redid the suspension last year. The DSC module and Plenum/TB combo are the only things left on my list.
