Default The cleanest rear window on Rennlist!

The sled was at the shop for a couple weeks and i finally got it back yesterday. To my dismay, there was a **** ton of finger prints on the inside rear glass on top of the existing gunk. This morning, after a few minutes of stretching and gathering my courage, i finally cleaned the rear window, actually all windows. First time in a full year! I've been dreaming about a roll cage, should be even more fun!

i finally cleaned the rear window
I assume that means its her car and she is the one cleaning? I'm too big to clean mine, its too hard for me to fit back there...and I can see a thin film on the inside. Guess we all have been shamed into cleaning it now. I would guess its the dirtiest part of any 911, the rear inside glass. But I won't wear a pink t top and shorts doing it. Maybe a blue top.

My kids constantly put their fingers on my rear window! Such a pain to keep cleaning it, but it's a 'must' for me to do it regularly!

Kids put their greasy fingers on my windows? They get a can of stoner glass cleaner and a micro fiber cloth. Funny - The finger prints have become less?

13 year old got in the back of my wife recently, Big Smoke cleaned X5. He slipped on the weathertech cleaned and dressed mat. Under his breath, I heard him say... "I love a clean car".

me - "Lashings will continue, until moral improves."

I can never tell which one did it! But that's a good idea.

You think cleaning the inside rear window on the 997 is tough? Try a 993 sometime especially with the optional Hi Fi speakers and rear windshield wiper. Almost impossible.

What product did you use to clean the glass?

My fun one is my 86 Targa with cage. I have to use one of those window cleaning wands an still can't reach it all.

Try Mr Clean magic eraser to get film off inside of windows. They make one for cars. Also Invisible Glass works great.

Mr clean eraser.. interesting idea. I didn't know you could use those on glass.

Will need to try that.
