I am the second owner of this 1996 Porsche 993 C2 which I bought from the original owner in 2013 in California. It has approx 57k miles. It is the polar silver with a black interior and overall, is in excellent condition. It drives perfectly, everything works as it should. There are no check engine lights. It has never been smoked in.

The car comes with a set of Twin Turbo 18" wheels as well as a set of the original 17” Cup II's. Both sets have Continental Contisports DW’s with plenty of thread.

It doesn’t drip any oil. I have the engine tray removed currently as my shop says it helps with cooling. The tray comes with all the other original parts of the car.

It was in a small accident in 2006 whereby a pedestrian in FL walked out in front of the car. The car was traveling slowly but the hood and windshield had to be replaced and the bumper was resprayed. I have all the receipts for this and all receipts from new for all service and work performed over the cars 21 year lifespan. It is quite a stack of paper. I had the original paintcode stickers reproduced for the underside of the new hood.

The car has been garage kept for its entire life. Apart from a few road trips, it has never spent a night out on the street. It has never been tracked or autocrossed. Any questions please feel free to contact me whenever and I will get back as soon as I can.

Since I bought the car I have…

Installed BergvillFX HID's. Replaced the battery, headlight lens, brakes (discs and pads, front and back), tires, seals, belts, rotors and distributor cap. Replaced the A/C evaporator and had the CCU rebuilt by BergvilleFX. Replaced factory suspension with Koni FSD system and M033 springs. I had a 50-State legal UV window film Installed. The front bumperettes have been removed and the rear-bumperettes painted. I installed a set of Rennline pedals and Rennline Door-pulls. I replaced the factory radio with Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS with bluetooth and replaced all the speakers. The microphone is wired to discretely sit at the top of the drivers A-pillar. I have the original factory radio as well as all the other original parts that have been removed. This includes the original factory foglights which have been replaced with the Twin-Turbo duct with LED parking lights. All the interior and exterior lights have been replaced with LED’s including the 3rd brake light and the rear fog-light position was also wired for an additional brake light for extra visibility. The gasket between the front bumper and the body has been replaced. The handbrake surround and cassette holder have been replaced with a leather-covered version and a leather-covered cup holder. Various oxygen sensors, ballasts and relays have been replaced as needed which is all detailed in the breakdown below the option guide. The car is wired with an easy-connect directly to the battery to make it convenient to attach to a battery maintainer. Both key original key fobs have been replaced for the much nicer key-ring type.

All servicing has been performed yearly at European Performance in Cary, NC. The car is incredibly reliable and starts up whenever needed and it doesn’t generate smoke when it does. It doesn’t burn oil and everything feels tight. It is a perfect daily driver if you are lucky enough to live in that type of climate or it is a perfect garage queen if you don’t(I don't). The exterior is in excellent condition and apart from a few paint chips on the front of the car which is to be expected due to its height off the ground, it needs nothing. The interior is immaculate. The front seats have a few light creases in the bolsters but are otherwise also in remarkable condition. The rear seats look like they’ve never been sat on(probably haven't). The car comes with all of its original manuals, compressor and tools.

Yeah, it's a great color. Blue in some lights, pure silver in others. It's a great car. Wish I used it more. I spent so much time getting it just right including designing and building the bumperette deletes and door pocket reinforcements that when I ran out of things to do, I moved on body and soul to another project.

Wow - great detail in your description - that's how you sell a car!

Also, love the car, if I didn't already have a polar silver 993, I'd buy yours. Good luck!

I was going to scan all the receipts and post those also, but I thought it would be overkill!

As soon as it stops snowing here I will get some better pictures of the interior and post those also.

Sorry to see you're selling I remember when you first got the car and drove it back to NC.

GLWS, What's next?

Not sure. Either something that's less usable and therefore easy to leave in the garage or something that's super-usable that I don't care about the way I care about the 993.

Snow will have melted by the weekend and I will take the car out and get better pictures to replace some of the dodgy ones I uploaded previously.

The car also comes with the beautiful service manual......

https://www.amazon.com/Porsche-Carre...rsche+993+book

..and an indoor car cover from California Car Covers and spare relays, window switches, the original bulbs and various other bits and pieces from my ownership of the car.

My Dad says that he is willing to fly over from Ireland if we need to deliver the car back to the West Coast. I explained that it's not quite how things work and he seemed disappointed
