The off-season work begins: Brakes. Really surprised these lasted a complete season - 2k track miles wore my rotors and Pagid RS29s down to their minimums. These 2-Piece rotors are custom made by Coleman Racing in Michigan - easy to replace, less expensive than stock, and free up about 6lbs of critical unsprung weight.

any noticeable difference in performance between slotted & the stock, cross-drilled rotors? My rears need to be replaced and I'm curious how those slotted rotors compare to the OEMs. Fwiw I have the standard brembos on a C2. Very little track use, moderate canyon use and some long trips.

Thanks for any help!

If you're not tracking it just stick with better pads and stock rotors. There are a few options for C2s and plenty of research available here.

17 track events last year.
The rotors are larger yet lighter.
The calipers are now 6Pot/4pot.
The pads are twice the size.

Just curious if you've given any thought to replacing your front shock uprights with the C2 style, if in fact they are different then the C4's.

Not really interested in doing it. The GT2/GT3 assemblies are near impossible to find.

The spacing of the caliper bolts are different so the GT3 Calipers are not a direct bolt on. I'm not really interested in C2 mounting kits to support them.
The struts sizes are also different meaning new struts and springs all around.
The offsets of the rotors are different.

That's about another $4-6k for things I've already solved for that won't really benefit in faster lap times.

I can help you with the GT2/3 uprights if you are interested, no problem getting them here to Seattle.

The 146mm caliper bolt spacing on the GT2/3 uprights works fine for GT3 brakes, unless they are the 225mm PCCB calipers. If they are the PCCBs, Porsche uses an adapter to fit them on 146mm spacing uprights (used on 997tt) you can use to fit them.

The front struts you currently have may be able to utilize sleeves that are often used to fit smaller diameter struts into the 51 or 52mm GT2/3 uprights.

You may need new hats for your Colemans.

Nice looking set-up!

I would be actually interested in some help in figuring this out, thanks for the response!

The Big Reds are from a 996 GT3 so they should be the 146mm and would bolt on directly to the new uprights.

I haven't been able to find the Uprights anywhere for reasonable prices so if you know a way I'm all ears.

I still have a set of GT3 front rotors so converting the suspension might not be that big of a deal but would mean either using them or selling them and getting new hats made for the Colemans.

For what I could get for my 996TT/C4S KW V3s, it would also open up a new set of coilovers. Possibly even motons or something but I'd also need new top hats at least for the fronts.

The other benefit could be replacing wheel bearings, hubs and stub axles with fresh pieces. Relatively cheap compared to snapping one. Not sure how many miles are on your original ones, but some consider these wear items after lots of track time.

I went RSpros, figuring I can sell my pss10s... I can appreciate the upgrade justifications, haha

Little more winter maintenance completed.

Oil Change - 11 qts of Rotella T6 (deeper pan means more oil than stock)
Oil Filter - Napa Gold 1420 (spin-on)
Coolant Flush - Fresh Pentosin Pentofrost SF
Adjusted my headlight mounts. Here's how to lower your headlights to fill the bumper gap

Here's a shot of the new Oil Pressure Relief Valve and Spring. After 117k miles I thought this for sure was going to be in bad shape but it actually looked fine. If you can't tell the difference niether could I but I ended up replacing both anyway.
