I just purchased a 1989 944 S2 and am trying to determine if the front suspension is original. It does not have the M030 option, but it does have yellow Konis front and rear. The front coilovers are Porsche part 951.343.521.00. The front springs have 2 yellow dots.

Is this the stock front suspension or some combination of other parts?

They are stock S2 3250N springs. The part# for the struts is wrong, that is the part# for the strut tops. The S2's were fitted with Koni yellows, this might help:

My 3 S2s came from the factory with Boge/Sachs. The Konis were M030 or 454.

Tom, agree...most 944/S/S2 were originally fitted with Boge/Sachs dampers.

Regardless, suspect you meant M030 or M474, aka sport dampers. M454 is cruise, aka automatic speed control.

Yep 474. My bad. I had 2 1989 S2s and a 1990 S2. Each had 454, none came from the factory with 474.
