Hi, it's the inventor here... I will support the installer of this kit, which was intended for a turbo lid install onto a Carrera wide body car. Anxious to see this conversion happen with a set of eRams. I have a full set of illustrated step by step instructions to mount the turbo lid with rising wing onto a Carrera S or 4S for anyone that needs them.

Greetings,

Are these automatically activated at speed like the hydraulic units?

Why are you selling? I assume you bought the kit to correct a deficiency.

I bought a TT wing to install on my GTS. Been considering not doing it, but if I do, may want to have this on the shelf if the hydraulics on the wing I bought have an issue since I don't know how old it is.

I was going to add a Turbo decklid the my 997S. The electric actuators will not clear the original air filter housing. I do not want to run an aftermarket air filter setup is my reason for selling.

Ah, same reason I'm still thinking on this, that is, the aftermarket airbox. The main difference is I have a wing sitting here ready to go, and have a Fabspeed CAI due in on Tuesday. I know the hydraulics on the wing work as I tested it out. If they were to fail, the erams are the way to go, IMO.

Will you set up a thread to follow your progress? I love this conversion.

Probably not. I'll check with StormRune to see if it's OK to append my comments to his already excellent DIY. If not, I will set up a separate thread referring back to his.

(BTW, don't know if it can be done, or if you have too much invested in your current design, but if you could design a kit to accommodate the stock airbox, I'd buy that right now.)
