Yeah, i remember those days. My first bike was 86 GSX-R 750. fun times but i got down to 38 could not handle colder than that

Speaking of cold.....



Been standing outside since Friday afternoon and still started this morning (Monday).
Had hard time turning over but three rotations and fired up.
Now what to do with an inch of ice that's all over it
Freaking Chicago weather.

Oh man, I love the 1st generation GSX-R 750s. I've got an '86 Honda VF1000R that I'm fixing up right now that I hope to trade for one (or a first-gen Katana) some day.

Mine was a K1, a 2001. My first "crotch rocket" bike. I was in law school at the time so I would park it right in front of the school for all the girls to see before class.

Hey man, the weather could be worse. If I recall, two years ago, we were well below zero!

Yes but at that time I had S550 with remote start. it was much more comfortable.

P.S. my friend has first get Katana. Completely restored with a few tasteful aftermarket touches and a built motor.

In -5 ( C ) and lower i always let my BMW run for 30 sek before i start to drive.

in -20(C) and lower the diesel sounds like Fred flintstone at work.

And DTC=off
