Default WTB Porsche Seats

Looking for a set of seats for my 981 Boxster Spyder. I understand that seats from a 991 would fit, but could be wrong. Looking for black with silver stitching to match interior.

OEM sport seats, ok if they aren't full 18-way sofas, but do want sport seat look. Must be black with silver stitching.

I have GT3 seats with alcantera inserts that are hardly used since they were replaced with buckets for track. Seems to fit your need perfectly other than maybe the alcantera. These seats are from 2007 GT3 and include the airbags.

Have a set of standard sport seats (confirmed they do have the silver stitching - just checked).

Sorry guys, never saw these replies! Do the 997 seats fit in a 2016 Boxster Spyder? I don't think they do, but could be wrong. I've had a 997 and a 991 and the seats are different...but the seats in a 991 look identical to what I've seen in a 981 Boxster/cayman. Anyone know for sure?

997 will fit in a 991, but...Butt .. the airbag has a different connector, so you will have that issue.

Porsche is great at keeping the same mounting points going back to the 964.

Yep, have the buckets and they aren't the most comfortable seats in the world. Want to keep them for when I resell, but looking for 991/981 adaptives ideally or sport seats.

Good to know 997 seats fit but don't want any airbag issues so will wait patiently!!

Merry xmas .. these are 991 regardless of the title

Ps. You may have trouble installing the 18 way seats if your car doesn't have a similar plug or memory. 993 guys figured out manual slide plug and play with a power and ground. Full power nightmare.

Look at this on eBay:

Porsche 997 987 Cayman Boxster sport seat set, black #005

I can confirm that as well, as the backs, headrest, and shoulder area have a different shape than 997 adaptive seats. These look like a fair price with the 10% off. If you don't buy them, I might to make office chairs out of - currently using a 928 one.

Thanks for the tip shadow993! Since these are not 18 ways, won't have any power issues right? My Spyder has no memory or heat since it was specified with the lwbs.

Also, trying to figure out if these would look strange in my car without the silver stitching. I have it on my dash, steering column and door sill....
