There is no reason to false advertise a C2 as a C4. There is a good chance they are just incompetent....

Sorry about your troubles, Hawk. Hope you get them straightened out.

There is a Porsche group in Vegas that does regular runs. I've never done one with them but the previous owner of my car did. I'm headed over there next week and will get contact info from him.

My car came from Vegas and I used to live there. I might be able to arrange a suitable venue for the Vegas get together as well and will attend if my car hasn't sold by then.

Through all the crap I have to deal with in regards to the dealership that sold me the car, she sure cleans up nice.

Yep. At the end of the day you're driving one badass looking 911! Not a bad problem to have!

That yellow really looks good, especially with the black wheels.

I want to get mine coated or trade them out for black ones. I think it really makes the paint color stand out.

Are you sure its a C2?, your vin number comes up as a C4? (got the vin from the craigslist add) you may also want to verify the CL vin to the actual. Just google Porsche options by Vin and you will see that your car is listed as a C4 as well as seeing all the options.

give us a pic inside the frunk. Maybe the prev owner painted the calipers. They did get black wheels and remove the badge. Also, most people don't change the door sills, but it is possible.

I checked multiple vi decoders and some say C4, others say RWD. The frunk has the red spare in it though and door sills as well as black calipers (I really want red calipers).

A quick look under the front of the car will tell you if it's a C4 or 2. You see a rectangular silver metal box under there, it's a C4.

Great color, especially for the desert.

Given a choice, I'd take a C2 over a C4 unless I lived in a place with slippery roads. On the other hand, I'd be pissed off enough to confront anyone that sold me a C4 that is a C2.

Yeah, ultimately it is what it is.
Between the front 2 wheels.
