I love how the spoiler comes up at a greater angle on the GTS.

I was surprised at how much I liked the clears on a Targa GTS. I just went to test drive it and two hours later, I was buying it.

.
I had the side markers replaced with clear ones before I took it home. Later, I had the red rear reflectors smoked. I think the red makes the cars look a bit older.
Just kidding, of course. Both look great but more importantly (and this may have been said before) it's always nice to see people do what they like on their cars.

clear looks good in silver and the yellow one...something dark for contrast, but not white car.

Satoru- beautiful picture! Your GTS looks incredible from that angle. The edge of the white tailights are gorgeous, and you captured that well, but I don't think the car is exotic enough to have clear tailights.
JBgill, thank you brotha!

After installing the reds and comparing side by side to the clear, on a white car, red has a small lead in overall appearance to the clears. Hard to explain why, but it seems to be a contrast thing. I think the darker the tailights, the better the look, I might end up tinting them a bit more.

In fact, I think tinting the clear tailights might be an awesome idea also!

Rumbl-B, you need to get the painted Race Yellow bumper reflectors from BumperPlugs. Talk to Santa. You've been nice.

My 991 was ordered from the factory with clear tail lights. When I first bought it, I planned to swap them for the OE red tail lights. Now that I've owned the car for a little while, the clears are starting to grow on me. I think I'll keep them.
