I've used Colorbond paints. They work well if you know how to use blending method or paint in sections.

I used black plasti dip to just paint over the grey. It's almost a 100% match to the black on the radio console areas. It also breaks up all the grey.

I ended up replacing the entire console assembly. Got a good deal on one.

If you live near LA, you can find this guy, or someone that does similar work.

Ditto, with a silver painted console.

The plastidip method looks good too.

I am getting the leather seat bolsters ,trim around seat controls and a couple spots on my 2002 cabriolet done by a business that does vinyl trim, dash repairs for most of the new car dealers in my area.I'm taking it in next week to get an estimate and set up a appointment for the repair.I have seen the work they do and it's excellent .When a vehicle interior is damaged in service and cost and time to replace part is expensive .They have this business repair it and you would never know it was damaged.I have seen them repair bullet holes in seats and headliners for the used car dept and its like new at fraction of the replacement costs. One problem is their business is mainly dealers so it can take a week or so to get it done for an individuals car.I will try to take pics before and after and post them.I'll see if they are ok with posting their info for anyone in the L A/San Fernando valley area.I used to work for one of the dealers and they agreed to do it for me.
