My Girlfriend...lol. You're not fooling anybody here, we both know the only way you’ll ever get laid is if you crawl up a chicken’s *** and wait.

Hmmmmmm.....157mph? What kind of straight does this track have? One that is a mile long, downhill all the way and with a tailwind? LOL. I've never seen speeds anywhere close to that and have done some high speed tracks...

Barcelona I've hit 150mph. Will do Hockenheim in December, sense I might hit 155mph, maybe just 150mph. Close to 160mph, that must be a monster of a track, or you are sitting in another car, like 488 or 675...

My fastest digital speedo read on the main straight was 143MPH.

Setup:
Full aero
2.4/2.0 degrees
0mm/4mm total toe
Corner balanced

I did an oil change and brake fluid flush prior to the event. I plan to change the oil again this weekend at 4200mi.

Here's my slide deck:

That mph seems to be in the ballpark for a stock GT4.

ACS = Autoclub Speedway = NASCAR track. You know. Left Turn Only american thing, 200mph 4 wide into a corner etc etc.

The track is in Fontana, CA. We lovingly call it "Fontucky"

These cars can get to about 150 or so, but doing so requires you to commit to turn 1-2 and 'trust' the banking and the car to stick.

Ah, didn't know you do trackdays on oval courses. Combination of oval and proper track in the infield looks interesting

They call it a "ROVAL" configuration. So about 1/2 the oval plus the infield from he map above.

Honestly, this track is OK, its probably my least favorite track in SoCal.

Several tracks here in the US are similar. Daytona for example.

150 is possibly doable but "on it" it seems in a stock GT4 . Never driven the track but looking at videos Z06s seem to be in the hi 150's w 600+ HP and higher g capability. Where is the max speed obtained ?

I have driven Daytona where u can get well into 150's because the exit speed from NASCAR turn 4 is 130 plus if you are committed.

Any video w telemetry out there of a GT 4 on that track?

Cheers

Watch this. You will get the idea.
I found a 996 gt3 that was about 150.
Like I said you have to commit into turn 1-2
I coast. I'm a *****.

Only time I ever did 150 MPH+ at ACS was on my old 19" BBS E88 wheels, and thats only because they threw off the speedo... and I run 1:52's there.

Not calling you a liar or anything, but 157 MPH at ACS is not doable at in our cars. I would have your speedo checked for improper calibration. Could be a ticket waiting to happen possibly.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is another NASCAR oval that is modified for HPDE groups to run part of the high banked oval, and part of it in the infield.

Want to cringe? Watch me almost put my Audi S4 into the wall when I was running all-season tires on a rainy morning. I came within inches of the wall. Zero damage...except to my brain, which was messed up for the rest of the day.
