About four years ago $3k was the discount on the table with a Carrera I was buying if I passed on the CPO, so maybe it would be a little more now... but not $5k unless they can explain a lot of service work to CPO it. My dealer has shown me all of the costs and paperwork for the CPO prep when I've asked for it. I'd ask them to qualify how they get to $5k with such a new car. I did buy the CPO though. If you think you'll trade the car in before the original warranty expires then you can skip it.
Good information. Considering what you've said I will go over to the dealer this afternoon and try to strike a deal of $95,000 with the CPO. Will let you know what happens.

Well, I did it! $95,500 with the CPO. Couldn't get them lower, but I'm happy. Picking it up this Saturday. Thank you all for your help. Looking forward to being a part of this community.

Woot! That's great news! Welcome to the fold.

I think you got a wonderful deal on a very nicely spec'ed and beautiful car. You're in for some great times!

Congrats! Thought that's great deal. Mine has similar options except premium plus, air-lift and 18-way seats. 112k drive-out new. I'm loving the car!!!!

Well done, and with the CPO not only you get peace of mind for a longer term but you also improve your chances of selling it well if needed.

We are in a PASM only world with the 991.2.

Based on the the recent test reviews, the base C2 is so capable now that the justification for going to the S (beyond image) is much less. My guess is that's why the base no longer has the option for SPASM or PTV as it did with the 991.1.

I got 13% off a used 2017 C2S Cab with CPO, not bad right?
