Default 993 Sighting in Bridgeport CT

Saturday was a beautiful day for a drive here in New England. I was heading to the Tappan Zee to meet a PCA member selling a set of BBS RS GT wheels. Spotted this car in Bridgeport, CT. The car looked super clean, and I managed to squeeze off a few photos. The autumn leaves, autumnal light, and the red 993 all came together perfectly. Anyone know this car?

Jim,

Is that an ML that you are driving? Only because I recently sold my 2009 ML63 and those hood vents stuck out to me in the photo..

Hmmm I've been thinking of picking up a naturally aspirated ML63. Not to hijack the thread, but what was your opinion of it? I'm a big fan of the older ones with the 6.3L V8...

I was driving my wife's GL 550. 135,000 miles and the car runs beautifully. We owned a prior series ML 550 - great vehicle, but too small for all of the the family's ski gear.

LOL Al,

Seems like just yesterday I was backing the GL down your snow covered driveway for those minty Sport Classic II's. They will be going on the zenith this weekend for the winter shoes.

I think I have as many sets of wheels now as you have 993's.

If the first step is admitting that you have a problem, then yes, I admit I have a problem. But I saw these wheels listed on PCA for just $1,000 and couldn't say no. They're perfect for the track.

Yes, I hadn't been on the Merritt for many years (84 to 684 to the Saw Mill is my usual route). The roadway was in nice shape, and it was a great drive.
