Default Gearbox leaking oil??

I've just noticed my gearbox is leaking oil.

I haven't had the chance to lift it up on the hoist just yet, but looks to be from the right side near the CV joint. 100% it's oil because it smells like gearbox oil.

Ideas where it's from?

Without seeing any photos I would guess it's the o ring on the cooler line right below the cv.

Here's a photo. Not sure if it's easy to tell or not.

Could be an o-ring in the cooler lines as numbskull says.

I've also had a leak from the output shaft seal, and from the gear selector plate. The output shaft seals are cheap and very easy to replace. The gear selector plate I just unbolted, cleaned the surfaces and sealed with some loctite 574 I had left over from my engine build.

It only looks like a very small leak, so the easiest way to find it would be to thoroughly clean the whole area and then take it for a short drive.

Damn!! Glad i live here hey. But there's no chance i'll do it in my garage. I'll put it on my hoist and have a look. Also got some leak at the front which i think is from the turbo mount i need to attend to.

Which means time i could be working on my 924 project i'm working on mine. again..
