The reason why we haven't heard anything official is that there's a "Stop Talking Order" -- can't violate the cone of silence. However, some of the posts here give us a pretty good idea, and I appreciate the input -- makes me much more comfortable taking delivery.

PCNA is being quiet because they'd like to distance themselves from the VW diesel thing. This isn't related but an effect of a witch hunt.
They deserve it. VW that is. I hope and pray that all these big conglomerates are broken up in favor of smaller more streem line companies. The past twenty years have created monsters that are just to big to fail.
I know these smaller companies cash out due to age and greed but it's bin a travesty to see what's going on in the world today. I'm hopeful that today's governance can change our direction because time is short to shore up the last remaining bits of a dieing society.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with my delivery.

Just heard from my SA, my TTS cab will be at dealership tomorrow. MAking an early morning run from Jax to South Miami. So I'll pick up either tomorrow afternoon or Saturday. No stop sale order or recall luckily.

Finally took delivery of an exceptional 991.2TT -- prep'd perfectly by my dealer -- Pacific Porsche in Torrance, soon to be called South Bay Porsche at their brand new location. Great delivery process -- once they had the car. Highly recommend doing business with them. Couldn't exercise this new machine off the lot, as it was late afternoon in Southern California traffic; opened it up once I arrived in Paradise (Newport Beach). Fabulous car -- seems perfect to me -- can't imagine what Porsche will do for an encore -- but they will find something. Will post pic's in the waiting room when I get a chance.

I know -- if there are no pictures, it didn't happen. Got to take my friend (on the left) for a walk first.
