bripery- Those are the perfect wheels for a MKI 996. They are new but retro, completely 911. They are awesome! Congrats.

I did H&R Sport springs with Bilstein B8's last April. I'd argue that the ride is better (albeit a little stiffer) than with the stock springs and struts/shocks (Bilstein B4). Still very smooth (not jarring at all) but tighter feeling. The look is 1000 times better ** I also installed mono ball camber plates up front.
I've also got a brand new pair of B8 front struts "left over" (long story, but suffice it to say that due to a ordering/shipping screw up, I got stuck with extra front struts...) - if you're interested PM me...
