I removed the side things but put them back in on the outside of the seats because I bought the seat protection covers.
Nice lap with the other white RS
Wet, yellow flags and lots of traffic. Still faster then I have ever gone BTG, you're my hero.
Must have been quite the sight to see 2 white RS screaming by!
I realize what Porsche claims the times are for the GT3 and RS but what are some of the best times for the average driver on the ring? I realize some days are tougher than others due to the elements and other slower drivers, just curious.
BTG 8 minutes is slow in GT3, that the best I've done after 25 laps.
Kobalt does that in the rain, traffic yellow conditions, half asleep.
Full lap is about 30 seconds more?
Fast full factory lap was I think about 7:25 for RS?
Most days are just BTG open track days, so that what's most often used, it includes stopping and driving through the gates for the next lap.

I'd say under 8 min BTG during tourist driving is fast. If no yellows I can probably do 7.45'ers regularly in TF. I don't get overtaken very often.
Edit:
When reading what I wrote I see how it came across. Don't t want to brag.
Maybe others can chime in.
One thing that is kind of weird is that the temperature at the Ring is very often the same as where I live which is about 1250 miles north.
I live by the sea and Nürburgring is in the mountains, that probably equals out the differences.
We've got snow this year exactly at the same time as Nürburg.
It is also amazing how fast the temperatures change. When I was there last Tuesday we had 16°C during mid day.
During the mornings the air temperature was 8°C at the higher point of the track and 3°C in the lower parts.
This is IMO a big difference and must be considered as it suddenly might be subzero so a nice and gentle outlap is a good rule there.
Here's the our 997 GT3 when wife and I was in Nürburg in Januari(!) 2014, a mild winter.
I like to watch videos to learn from: (Jump to 6:10)
In this video a car is laying out a nice line of coolant... The stupid driver has hazard light on but keeps driving. He drives thru the fast left hander (not in this video) and then finally stops on the right side on Kesselchen. The left hander is done in +200kph. Two 991RS friend discovered the coolant the way we don't want to discover it... But none of them crashed so it ended well in that regard.
