We are having a fun run this weekend from Alpharetta, GA to Chattanooga, TN. We will be meeting @ Garage 928 at 9:00 am and leaving there by 9:30ish. We will be following the same route as last year ending on Elder Mountain at Larry Whites palatial estate. We will have lots of food and drink for lunch and then return to the Atlanta area via the route of your choice.
Just a reminder for tomorrows event. It should be a bit cooler this weekend and it will be 3 degrees cooler at Larry's house so be prepared.
We look forward to seeing everyone, well......, almost everyone.
I spent most of yesterday afternoon on the road so I used the time to contact all the local (to me) owners I have in my contacts and invited them all. We may see a few fresh faces.
We were thrilled to hear the river boat coming in the distance.
Larry White was,as always, a great host. Wonderful time this afternoon with a solid crowd from Atlanta and pleased to meet Trey and Robin Phillips and their 86.5 from Shelbyville, TN.
It was a great day for driving! Took a three hour trip through the north Georgia mountains before arriving at Larry's. They prepared a great meal and as you can see from the picture of the river boat, he has an unbelievable view from his patio!
And to make a great day even better Larry had hats made for all who attended which was quite a surprise!
Also a big thanks to Brian Phillips for finally pulling this all together! He coordinated the drive route and keep the communications flowing to make this happen!
