Default Cryo rotors for my wife's Lexus

Anyone with experience? How much more mileage will I get with them.

Issue: This IS250 goes through both pads and rotors at 32K!!! I now need a 2nd set at 64K miles! C'mon, this is crap.

An Toyota brand set of fronts are about $140.

A set of FrozenRotors are $240 a set and use Akebono blanks... more if I want Toyota rotors (didn't get a quote).

TireRack cryo are $145 for a set of frozen Centric rotors.

So, will I get double wear out of these more expensive frozen jobs? Use is easy going wife-driving style.

Opinions?

Peace

I had rotors chronic treated a few times trying to get more use from them especially on the track. Never noticed any difference.

Considered these but didn't go for the hype. Went with the extra carbon centrics on my Audi and quite happy at 10k on these. Paired with hawk ceramics that provide good performance with little dust.

I have the Centric Cryo treated on my 955. I noticed they didnt warp as easily after overheating the brakes, that was all.

Dang, that's nuts on the rotors/pads wear. I bought the first model IS300 back in March 2001 and just recently sold it with 189,000 miles on it. Even after we gave it to our son during high school and him using the brakes harder than we did, I only replaced the rotors 1 time and pads 3 times. The only significant mechanical part that ever broke on the car was the radiator at 182,000 miles. Dang thing was a tank.

I didn't see Autozone with a lifetime warranty. They had three models, cheap, then the $50 ea set with 3 year warranty. They had a Brembo for $2 more but only a 2 year warranty... the disc was over 2.5 lbs lighter.
