Thanks everyone for all the compliments, I'll be updating the thread this weekend with the full history of the car, reconditioning and spares/tools list.

Amazing car..... just curious why the motor rebuild lists it as a 997 Cup?

That's how the paperwork arrived from PMNA, it's just a clerical error, the engine was rebuilt to 996 Cup specifications not 997 Cup and the rebuild invoice reflects that. I'm sure I can get it changed if the new owner deems it necessary.

Default Race Results

Posted below are copies of my Cup Car's race results I recently obtained from the DMSB in Germany for the 2004 & 2005 Carrera Cup Deutschland seasons. #25 for 2004 & #21 for 2005 are highlighted on each sheet:

Everybody sniffing at this will regret not buying it in 24 months. These are the next 964 and 993 Cup cars with only 100 or so made per year. Maybe only 20% is left and only a handful have this history and quality

Very Pretty well documented car that is no doubt worth close to the asking price. I would have owned it if but for the lack of Wagenpass and the original chassis. Still I have recommended the car twice to serious buyers. GLWS

Interesting comment regarding original tub in my research of original versus retub cars a couple of items I noted. Many of the Cup Cars that have professional race history, a real plus to the cars value, have had numerous hits or at least bumps during there race lives add to that simple metal fatigue incurred during race events make original tub cars more likely to now show stressed tubs. If retubed later in example. Many very valuable historic ex race cars have been given a new chassis over the years so I guess the best of all worlds would be a ex pro raced car with a great race history with a great driver or two on the record with good race results and no damage but in lieu of that proceed as you feel best. Just my 2 cents and I approve this message, sorry election commercial burn out
