You just might...in a year or three
Thanks Rob, Can't wait to fondle her
Thanks go to Alex. He was up trolling around at 3:00am (EST) on one of his 40 or so bookmarked 4-sale sites when one of his auto alerts went off sending a shot of adrenaline into his system. He instantly attempted to contact me through a slurry of text messages and e-mails
Thanks Doc, I drove it in my dreams last night..or was it a fantasy (period correct)
Absolutely !! But you'll need to bring your little steamer/detailer half a pastrami sammwich on me
Thanks Brian, Will work on that
Thanks Ed, That would be great ! Pretty sure Mokka will be at PVGP next July. Yes, hope that Alex, Andrew, and any year will show up to this great event. Looks like the pinstripes are staying put...for now along with that phallic looking shifter Can I at least run rear spacers ? not planning on any winter driving so chains will not be needed l
Nice try Erik, I was not at SITM a few years ago but did don a Nehru suit in the parking lot at 3:00am at 3rd Coast some years ago-nobody even noticed or didn't say anything
If the mothballs did not dry out, I'm in

Bottom feeder says; You done well. Congrats and I would leave the period correct(if not factory) pinstripes alone. Yes, it does give it that Chevette Sport look, but hey - it was the 70s man. Kinda surprised it doesn't have the silver quarter window trim, but black looks good too.
Congrats Tony (and good back story too!) I think you did well. I love the stripes on it - they work; same with Alex's chiffon white. Some cars wear them well, and this is surely one of them.
One big comment (for what it's worth) NO SHORT SHIFTER! Not in an early car - they need that long stick. Not only is it natural for the times, but look at the actual distance in hand travel from the wheel to the **** - About the same as the modern Carrera GT! Porsche with its race bred history knew what it was doing.
Great grab, and I really hope to have a couple of pictures with it next to Blumaxx next April at Hershey! And one of Alex's gems too, and hopefully Andrew - wouldn't it be cool to get some nice OB's together for a group shot?

PVGP would be even better. IO am trying to come up with a theme - and with the 40th of the water cooled stuff, this may be the ticket! Would love to see all of these fantastic OB's at the PVGP, and maybe even William's Minerva as icing on the cake? I will need to start a separate thread on this.

Wonder if 'Humidor' is taken as a License plate in NY?
I'll need a pumpkin orange leisure suite with white belt and shoes as well....

It is an early '80, so it's kind of an 'OB', and it's so damn cool and original...OK Rob, how about a 'quickie' on the Tabac Metallic '80 Euro S?

Hmm....this horse trading thing might pan out afterall...but only after Rob performs his magic I'll probably be one of the knuckleheads standing next to you at PVGP in my NOS Nehru suit.

Wait, what's going on here? I'm lost after getting dizzy and feeling ill paging through the fashion photos.
What's Van getting rid of? My 78 hasn't moved since I brought it home last year, maybe I should toss that in the kitty.

Quote/Eric: thought he wore a leisure suit to SITM a few years ago.
in your defense, it appears Alex took things a bit to far with his shenanigans Back on topic please, lets try and salvage this thread before Erik sends it to the abyss T
