Default Rear spring ID S4 & GTS

Does anyone know the difference in the current available rear springs from Porsche ?

Porsche now list just two options, as opposed to the original 3 x blue colour options with the 1/2/3 marking

The current listings are :-

928.333.531.14.304

or

928.333.531.16.304

Both spring sets are identified as 'Blue' but what are the differences ?. I imagine that one set is stiffer, does anyone know, or checked the rates of these ?

Looks like .14 is the old PN, which was superseded by .16.

Can't say if there's any difference, though.

Springs get wound in volume.

They naturally differ from one another......and the bigger they are, the more they vary. (Valve springs, tiny by comparison, vary considerably. I spend hours sorting and matching new valve springs.)

Porsche did not desire for there to be radical difference in springs, from one side of the car to the other, as this would "upset" the corner balance, so they had the manufacturer mark the springs in "reasonable" groups.

Performance wise, the best drivers on the planet would not know the difference from group to group.

Don't mix new springs with different colored marking on one car....and you will be fine. (Of course, used springs are all over the "map" in terms of pressure, so you will probably have to search to find springs that are similar.)
