Such a special piece of Porsche history!
It's part of the Ingram Collection, and is displayed at Porsche Southpoint in Durham, NC. The dealership, in conjunction with local collectors, routinely displays air-cooled cars. The yellow car is a '88 club sport with less than 100 miles....
More info. on the C4 Lightweight
This one is #12, and was was sold by Road Scholars a couple month back to a RL member! (hope you're enjoying the car King!)

Hi Guys,
First post here in the 964 side of the forum. Here is my 89 C4 "aubergine metallic" (original was Grandprix white) , pretty original except some parts like HR sport springs, steering wheel, seats, cup mirrors, front splitter and rear spoilers. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed your marvelous pictures so far (I'm up to page 250 now).
I'm coming from a 3.2 hotroded/original Strosek Cab and mainly changed because of the originality, the looks and mainly because friends pushed me into racing my 911, which I didn't want to do in a hotroded cab.
I'm pretty happy for the moment, I took her home wednesday and tracked her on sunday in France. As it was my first trackday I focused on the my line and on the braking, but It was still a lot of fun so I'm really looking forward to the next trackday.
More to come and looking forward for other trackday pictures (unfortunately none of mine on the track). See you!
