Well, as I'm sure you know, asking prices and trading prices are 2 very different things...

As for prices, be interesting to see what the hammer price is for the Bonhams cars

Sure, if that makes the majority of the people feel good, I think it's a marketing success for Porsche. But you and I both know the 911.2 GT3 will be a complete different car than the R. It will be heavier, more insulation, double mass flywheel, no exotic materials used (i.e. no magnesium roof). I really think the R was created to drive up the demand for the 911.2 GT3. A very smart move by Porsche in my opinion. Create an unicorn that 99% can't get, and then quickly introduce a car that everyone can get and makes people think they are "almost" getting the same thing.

Honestly, if AP didn't kept on "selling" the single mass flywheel on Evo and various other media, the demand for SMFW on the R would be reduced by 50%. Porsche is the master on creating "MUST HAVE" options on their cars!

And we are 100% in agreement of Porsche being the master... That's why I believe the single mass flywheel will be an option.
