A more clever title to this post escapes me........

To keep it simple, looking to make a deal with someone if possible. I completely understand this is a slim chance, and I also understand the need for complete discretion and privacy. Not looking to upset anyone's VIP status and how that impacts my options. I understand that I could not register the car in my name for a predetermined amount of time.

Wish list: Silver or white, SMFW, radio delete, etc. The usual stuff. I plan on driving it, period.

Of course, any PM's or correspondence will be kept confidential. I plan on being in this community for long while.

Good luck. I wish you could do this in public so we could get a feel for the actual price of these things.

Well, ..if you think about the value of the 24 "original" 911R, ..this is cheap !
I recently heard from someone that insured one of these 24 cars, the value (of one) is now in the range of U$ 4,000,000.00 !!!

This is especially ****ed up as 918 owners in Europe were not guaranteed allocations like the USA.

Taking into account that the owner could pick the phone up and sell for 600-700k Eu, at any time, would not read to much into the guide price.....

local dealer contacted me yesterday about a high markup 911r available - i said how high... he said guess, i said 150 over he said try again, i said 250 he said much much higher

i must say this is retarded... wait 12-18 months, 1.2 gt3 with manual coming... same car... downsize tires, remove wing and have upholstery shop add houndstooth center cushions and do those fugly dracula stripe decals
