Default I ruined GT2 seats

They no longer have any value as baby seat has been in them. Will sell cheap.
Her first time riding in gt3. She seems to enjoy as much as dad

THIS THREAD IS NOW ONLY GT2 BUCKETS WITH KIDS IN THEM
Looks like a Chicco Keyfit 30...
My 10wk old has the same car seat. I'll edit this post with a pic of him in the buckets tonight.

F1CD,

Do you have keyed airbag switch in side panel? Or are you just relying on weight sensor?

I want to bring my two year old out in it but no keyed switch yet, being Chinese I'm too cheap to install it when the other vehicles work.

How old is she? I have aspirations of taking my 10mo out with the top down, I figure she'd love that. Wife is pretty adamantly opposed to the idea.

Are you local ? I have durametric pro - i shut off airbags. PM me and pay for shipping both ways and i can send you instructions on how to shut off airbags.

She is turning 6 months tomorrow. Mom is fine as long as i drive responsible. A car is a car. Cayenne or GT3 - should hold up rather well compare to 90% of cars out driving.

I have GT2 buckets in my 997 turbo.

My little guy is almost ready for a booster seat and would love to put him up front.

Thanks for the tip on the Durametric! I have one for my GT3RS so it should work on my turbo!

It's a Recaro Vivo seat and fits nice and snug in the bucket seat.

I posted this a while back, but here it is:

The angle of the folding GT3 bucket seat is smaller than the Recaro Vivo booster. The booster lies flat against the back rest of the GT3 seat, but only the front of the Vivo touches the seat bottom of the GT3 seat. The airbag weight sensor is at the back of the GT3 seat bottom and the booster doesn't touch it. So the airbag remains disabled. The "Passenger Airbag Off" light stays illuminated.

ilko, that's not how gravity works.

Nick, it has nothing to do with gravity. The bottom of the child seat does not touch the area where the weight sensor is. I was able to squeeze myself in and buckle up. And I'm 3.5x heavier than my son. The airbag does not activate. Unless you break either seat there is no way for the bottom of the recaro to touch the area where the sensor is.
