Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!

Hey I'm 54 and glad to hear that I don't have to grow up in the next 4 years!

If I get bored of them, it was only $50 and an hour's worth of my time.
Very nice!! Subtle but distinctive!

I wonder what dark gray over black would look like..... probably just disappear...

Do it. If you don't like it, you can take it off.

I have seen 996s with Mangnus Walker stickers, so this can't be worse than that.

My other 986 - silver with gunmetal grey stripes. I really liked this when I did it a few years ago. I have not done either of my 996 cab or 996 turbo but might!

havent owned either in years. I call it a 986 because thats what it is. Same if i called a 991 a 991. Both my Boxsters were cool cars. Not embarrased at all.

I think it really works well on these cars. Brings the sightlines down just a bit.

you'd think a 58 year old would grow up.
The 'grown up' 58 year olds are the ones driving Crown Victorias to work.
**** that.
Life's short. Drive the Porsche. Enjoy the stripes.

Haven't done the side stripes on my 996 or my 986, but my 987C already had them on, and I put 'em on both my 914s.

Pongo, your stripes look great!

Before I order, how hard are they to remove, in case I don't like it or want to change?

I think they look great. The decals have become back in vogue lately. Very cool look.
