Going back to Cali - Carmel that is! Aug 16th Concours

We're in!
We're going back to the Avenue!
Doug called a couple of days ago, they had some cancellations for Concourse on the Avenue in Carmel and wanted our GTS back. We just got confirmation this morning that we're in a mixed "Continental European and Foreign Sport" class.
We'll be there for the week, Carmel on Tuesday and Werks on Friday. There is still time to sign up for Werks, concours is full but registration for the Corral is open until the 10th.

Great news, Jim! Let's coordinate our arrival in the morning so we make sure the 928s are next to each other. Since we are in a mixed class the first and last 928 models next to each other should be great!

William is heading north, was just mentioning a slight shimmy above 80 mph on his way through West L.A. I suggested that he not complain about being able to go 80 on the 405 on a Sunday afternoon...

So, is this also going to be the luncheon for auction drivers? Matt Looney wrote something in an email I got about "orientation" luncheon before the auction which begins at 3PM.
Hi All,
I have a table confirmed as follows:
Baja Cantina - Carmel
7166 Carmel Valley Road
Carmel, CA 93923
Reservation name: Richard De Andrade
Thursday 18th August, 2016
1:30pm
Party of 12
If we need more seats we will probably have to squeeze tighter around the table!!
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 18th!
Best regards,
R

No Bill, this is an entirely separate lunch just for people to get together, nothing to do with the auction. When you work at Russo auction they give you food before you start, which is usually 4-5.

So William and I are sitting in the staging line, and I look down, and realize the parking brake warning light in the center console is installed upside down. Sigh.

Woot! Woot! Great job! You've both just got to be really pleased with all the work completed. And didn't you drive up to Monterey? Regardless, still an excellent result.
