Palos Verdes Cars n Coffee
Anyone heading to The Palos Verdes Cars n Coffee this Saturday? I was gonna go and I thought it'd be cool to meet up before so we can park together and represent the Porsche front-engine-water-cooled-V8-excluding-Cayennes.

I was talking about the pelican meet, but I don't know of any others, but I'm game for whatever. Just wanna put some mileage on the car and check out some others. Let me know if there's another CNC you were going to, I'll meet you there.

I ended up back with my friends in the pool and we discussed the benefits of V8s in Porsches, Chevys, Jeeps, Fords, Buicks, and Pontiacs and how transaxles really are the way to go. Nobody in that group is offended by front placement water cooled engines. Many more frozen drinks were consumed. Weird
Anyhoo, There are some local cars and coffees in Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach but I want to put some miles on my car too so I thought it'd be cool to go to the Pelican CNC, it's about 40 miles each way and I've never been. I hear Magnus is there sometimes, and word on the streets is he is not a snubber.
Definition:
Snubalicious - unmistakably snubable because you don't own a Porsche with a rear mounted air-cooled engine.
Snubaphobia - the fear of being snubbed by air-cooled Porsche owners.

Me too, aside from the guy in Mexico, I've only gotten compliments so far, but for me the exercise is about going to see other cars and meeting some folks, not really displaying mine. Nothing too special (to others) about a DYI wrapped stock '83. Fun to drive though.
