Thanks for posting the video. I like the understated striping and I think it's the first real-world pics I've seen of striping on the Spyder's hood and trunk.

I always thought that any stripe on the trunk would have to be narrow enough to fit between the rear humps/streamliners, but questioned if that width would look good or if the car cried out for a wider stripe. After seeing this, I think the width is fine.

Love how the stripe as applied on the underside of the wing appears to be tappered to perfectly match the length of the rear brake/back-up light. Nice detail!

Here's something you don't see everyday. Two 987 Spyders at a C&C.

Platinum Silver on the left. Arctic Silver on the right.

Default Got my carmine red GT4

I my dealer had one coming. Carmine red with LWB seats and PCCBs.
The color is awesome. I paid MSRP. I opted out of GT3 RS GT silver. The GT4 now come as a sabl matey Spyder which now rides also on GT4 wheels and SC2. The combination is just fatantastic. The cars are so different.
Soon I will be posting pictures of both cars together.

Clint, thanks for posting. Damn, these cars are aging so nicely (unlike myself)! Wow.

I hope five or six years from now as the 981 Spyder starts to grow a few grey hairs it looks equally as modern as the 987 does now, but with that patina/retro thing going on that the 987 seems to have in spades. Just lovely!

It's undeniable: the Spyders have some great genes

Yes they do and I feel so lucky every time I take her out for a spin.

I was fortunate to follow a 981 Spyder a couple of weeks ago. The rear lines and the exhaust sounds it makes had me in awe. That exhaust sound still haunts my memory......in a good way.

Boy, I wish I could find an awesome photo background like that in north west NJ for my white Spyder. Only problem around here; my choices are limited. Possibilities include mobbed road side rest areas, crowded farm markets, and filled parking lots.
