Default Electric Corvette goes 205 mph

A street-legal Corvette Z06, developing more than 700 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque, went 205.6 MPH on the shuttle runway at Kennedy Space Center. "Whoo hoo hoo," said the driver. "Dayem."

The electric Corvette claims to have a range of 130 miles on a single charge. It has 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution and low center of gravity.

How soon before it begins terrorizing track days, refusing to give point-bys?

Like the Tesla, it's fast, but that 130 mile cruising range is not at WOT track pace. It'll end up more like 3 laps...

He had no gloves while driving the car then decided to put the gloves on when he was getting out of the car......must be a germophobe.

Check that, he took them off in the middle of the run. Gotta love the edits.

200mph and a seat/belt setup that would be disqualified for any DE event.

I think that helmet came off a space suit from the Apollo missions.

Did the HANS money get spent on a gold chain instead?

I heard the driver wanted a hatch with explosive bolts when he saw the seatbelt arrangement.

"Hold my beer. Watch this." was evidently cut from the beginning of this video.
