So Mooty you came within 10 miles of my house and didn't let me know?

Love it BTW, would have liked to see it in person though, let me know next time!

Edit: Of course the real reason is to return all the hospitality you have shown me at the track!!

finally have an hour or two, sneaked out for a short drive. as you can see, the CXX dessert holder in center console option is useful to haul the macaroons.

short quick impressions vs 997rs4.0

* kept trying to step on clutch when approaching stop lights.
* in tight turns, it's better to use the shifter on the console, or else you will trigger the wrong paddle as they turn with the wheel
* both 4.0 are 500hp but 991 feels quicker, passing traffic is like playing tennis with 2 Yo, they are sitting ducks.
*4.0 is more satisfying but 991 is more fun if that makes sense.
*4.0 is armani with ties and a ritual to drive while 991 is more jeans with holes, pull it on and just go
*4.0 is tango; 991 is disco do as u wish; hard to mess it up
*4.0 is vinyl with tubes and 991 is high end MP3. one needs telefunkens, correct azimuth and vacuum cleaning for 20 min of listening pleasure while the other you hit a button then just dance and sing along; the notes aren't quite all there but u are having fun nevertheless
* drove both, same route, 2 hours apart. 991 suspension is much more composed. 4.0 is like a pogo stick or wild biath. got to ride her hard. 991RS is smoother. all the macaroons stayed in the dessert bin

Haha, great analogue vs digital analogy.

The 991RS is the most perfect playful car I've ever driven. All before are clunky on track.. Or charming..

I'm all for both worlds until it actually needs to perform. Then digital all the way.
Hence old track cars are gone and we're trying old street cars where they barely have to perform to C&C and back. Or coast to coast hehe.... I may sell 6.9 before we reach the east coast and trade for a C63S coupe LOL. see you Monday or Tuesday

Temp gauges seem to take breaks. Same on Macan, they all of a sudden wake up and find the right temp every 15 mins or so. Give it time.

not sure about werks reunion. may have to do kids summer thing.
usually i go up 84 from canada. then right turn on skyline toward half moon bay. then u turn at 92 and trace the same route back. longer route would be 84 toward pch. right before pch there's a road (i am bad with names unless its a porsche model name), turn left there and some how you will end up at petaluma. thats' the long route.

after mango, i took baby out

How do the macaroons work for the diet? Something I should try?
