Mooty's impression of the 991RS performance is pretty much spot on.
The RS is way, way too fast for the street. You can't even begin to scratch the surface of the RS's performance without risking trouble with the law or endangering others around you. The car is sooo composed and sneaky fast you lose complete sight of how fast you are really going.
Mooty's review reflects my actual experience only yesterday. I finsihed putting my Competition Motorsports center bypass pipe on yesterday. 2 hours without removing the bumper (well....actually my Porsche tech friend did it and I watched. ) and we went for a little spin. Coming back on a local mountain top road a neighbor that lives on the road came over and politely asked me not to drive that fast on the mountain top. I apologized and said to Brian (my tech buddy) "were we going that fast?". He chuckled and said "it didn't seem like it but I glanced over and we were doing 70ish". Speed limit is 30 mph. My response was "Holy chit".
On public roads this car will suck you in with its sound (especially with the center bypass pipe, Holy cow!!!!), blindingly quick shifts, composure and ability in doing what most other cars can't even remotely approach goading you into very very bad behavior without you fully realizing how bad you are being then laugh at you afterwords while sitting there fully composed and say with wry grin.... "What????...don't blame me "

south beach, veggie, protein, diets are all missing the most important factor in dieting. SPEED. if u ear fast enough, ur brain will not be able to register that u ate, and ur organs will not act fast enough to digest or absorb it. so net cal intake is zero. it works for me. my cholesterol has to be measure 3x every visit bc the good one is way hi. hey Thoth the machine was mid calibrated.
on another note the Thais 991r. LEARN to LFB. it's way more fun and faster and u can do some silly sh*t with it.
