Despite the light attendance for our inaugural event last Friday, HPDU and the SoCal GT4 group had an absolute blast at Buttonwillow raceway and we intend on doing so again on September 9th at Autoclub Speedway! This is the same weekend as the POC event, so for those of you who are also running that Saturday and Sunday, this will essentially serve as en extra day of testing.
For those who would like to take advantage of the coaching, the price includes usage of our AiM Solos ,GoPro cameras and Data Acquisition sessions as our curriculum is primarily comprised of driver training through Data and Video.
For those of you who are not interested in the coaching, we have opened up registration just for the track time with coaching as optional.
As always, we are running an open track format so experience is encouraged along with being comfortable in an open passing environment.

Is this open to all? I am PCA, but not POC. How can I find out more details?
Will it be the Roval track?
Timed laps?
Transponders?
Start time? End time?
Open passing anywhere, or only in designated sections?
Is my stock Boxster acceptable (the tech sheet mentions a roll bar for open cars)?
Will you have gasoline available onsite?
Do you provide corner workers?
I looked at your web site, but couldn't really figure out what this format is....are there multiple start times? Or just hop on the track and drive?

Thanks for inquiring, I would be happy to answer your questions to quell any confusion that you may have surrounding our event.
The laps are only timed when one of the Data Acquisition devices, such as our AiM Solo DLs are in use. If you are here to set a personal best lap time, our coaches will be able to provide you with the proper tools, otherwise we are really encouraging driver development through the elimination of bad on track habits. Our open track format eliminates any sessions or "run groups" that you may encounter during your average track day. This is why we recommend previous experience and comfort in an open passing environment as ultimately these allow everybody to maximize their track time, and share the track with other higher-aptitude drivers.
In regards to your tech inspection, a Boxster comes with a safe internally integrated roll safety system. Any additional safety infrastructure is at your discretion.
Fuel will be available for sale on site, as well. Our day starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM, and of course ALS ambulance, Fire/Safety will be present during those hours to ensure a safe and fun day for everyone.
