Here's the short story:

Vbox CAN cable for HD2
white wire: CAN low
blue wire: CAN high

AIM Solo DL can connection
white wire: CAN high
blue wire: CAN low

That's a bummer.

The long story isn't much longer: as you can imagine, both products using the same colors for their CAN wires but flipped around can be confusing. My HD2 got installed incorrectly, because of the shop's experience with the many AIM Solo DL installations they'd done.

I've let Racelogic know about this and I imagine they'll get a bulletin out to their dealers. Hopefully other HD2 buyers won't have the same hassle I'm having.

That's a shame, because I emailed your original installation shop both the installation instructions for AiM products AND the color code and pin out for the HD2 RLCAB015 CAN cable. All they had to do was read...

Indeed! The installation of the power cable was done incorrectly too - it was on non-switched power instead of switched. Your instructions on that was also very clear.

Here's how it shouldn't look:



The white Vbox cable - CAN low - should be going to the orange/brown cable.

All their cables are the same I believe - not just the HD2.
