Was with my dealer trying to spec out an RS. I ended up going with Silver and PCCB. Interior will be yellow stitching. Any recommendations as to which color rim goes best with silver and yellow calipers. I know the black will match the black plastic vents and other parts but like the look of silver/platinum. Hard to find any side by side for the Platinum vs Silver. As for now the build sheet has platinum.

 

I would go black or platinum. Below are some pics from a quick google search for you to compare. Hope this helps.

I would first say Black but Silver with Silver uprights would be different and interesting- I think cool.

 

Black for sure. The pic is not mine but was hugely influential when I was thinking GT Silver...eventually went lava.

 

That is an excellent example of why black rims look so good on the RS.

 

I saw my first GT3 RS in GT Silver on the road on Friday with clear tail lights and that was pretty impressive. Not a clear tail lught guy but it just worked

 

This car is beautiful, I would add carbon fiber accents and caress it in my garage at night!

 

This was actually the pic that almost made me change my UV build to GT. I would probably go with platinum wheels, because all other GT silvers I've seen have black ones. I would not miss the black wing uprights though.

Thanks for the quick responses. I am definately going to try and add some CF accents to the front, rear, and side intakes. 0-60 look at the first photo of the GT silver with the CF scoops. You don't think those platinums look good?

 

Black, platinum, silver in that order. Default uprights are black on GT Silver unless you CXX silver ones. Did your stitching get approved already?

 

Yes it accents the car very nice! my previous 15' gt3 had shinny black wheels, and my car current 15' has platinum wheels, it seems the platinum are hard to keep looking good (water spots) ......I've been looking at a u/v with bright silver wheels, I like them too. notice how that Gt silver changes color depending on the light....I had a 2007 997.1 turbo in gt silver......loved it!!

 

Silver wheels would be my choice. Darker colored wheels look smaller. Silver also seems to be the rarest spec'd option of the three.
