looks like the tilt kit was installed on your subframe(rather than suspension mounts).
you can remount the front cross member to the top of the subframe to get rid of the cow catcher effect. there are pics on here someplace.
thought I saw some used jrz suspension listed, can't find it right now.
but cruise the for sale section, nice suspension comes up for sale quite often.
Thanks for the clarification and input k722070. I'm sure there are some great used suspensions out there, but I'd rather buy a new set and not take any chances.

Talk about a bad month. Just looking over my other C2S and it's also showing signs of front wheels rubbing the fenders. WTF! The car just had a new suspension installed and tuned by EPE in Natick. MO33's and Bilstein B8's. ROW height, which is too high IMHO. I'm running 996 hollow twists with Michelin Pilot Sports.
At the current ride height and with a whole new suspension, I'm having difficulty fathoming how the wheels are rubbing. I'm guessing maybe the camber is all wrong? I need to get this figured out. Now I've got two cars that need to go to the body shop. Doh.

Is that a dent? I don't think that's from tires. Do you have marks on the tires? That's the way to tell if they rub. It will be very obvious on the tires if they rub.
I run 225/40/18 in front on 9 inch rim with 48 offset on the track. There seems to be slight rubbing when tires were brand new (keep in mind stock are 8inch with 52 offset). So my outside edge is 17mm further out than stock. I believe the 996 wheel is 8.5 wide 50ish offset, so you should have no issue with rubbing with 225 tire.

The fender is absolutely dented, in the same spot my other car's fender is dented. The tire tread in both instances appears to have hung up on the lip. Easy to straighten out when they get repainted.
I'm fairly certain this is from tire rub in both instances. But I'm struggling to understand how my zenith C2S is having any issues riding so high on a new set of MO33's and B8's. I'm guessing perhaps the car is dropping down on some of the expansion joints on the souheast expressway on the way in and out of Town? This car is not tracked or autocrosssed.
I have noticed that it doesn't turn it very well, and there's a bit of steering bump. I'm guessing the camber is off. Could worn bushings also be causing this?

The car was recently resprayed and is a cream puff. Fairly certain this damage was not there before. I'm riding ROW, but on the lower side. Also ET 50 front wheels. I have to guess the car was never properly setup and has positive camber. Can't wait to get this car into the shop to figure this all out.

These fronts are 8ET50 w/ MPSC 225/50 x18, again way lower than where you are
My guess is a camber issue, mine has -2.5 deg of camber in front in that pic
Jim, who's the mechanic that looked at all this stuff? Did they ever check the alignment?
Corner balanced and aligned at EPE after they did the install this past winter. The car has only been driven about 750 miles. I'm going to take the car to Eurotech for some objective measurements. I'm fighting the car to turn in. I'm fairly certain the camber is out instead of in, but I'll wait for some hard measurements before jumping to any conclusions.
Fortunately for me these really are all small first world problems. Kind of like the bowling alley breaking down at last night's party at the July 4th party in Chatham. I've seen two 993's totaled at the past few track events, and reading about another C4S totaled this morning keeps things in perspective. This can all be sorted out and corrected.
