Question for those with carbon dash vents

Question for those with carbon dash vents
For those of you that have the carbon fiber hvac vents, above and below the vent open and close wheel, there is a large white dot on top and a small white dot below. Do those illuminate when you have your lights on? I know on standard gray vents they do, but was wondering if it works the same on the cf vents.

Can't be sure without having it in front of me, but I think it's the exact same part as what you call the "standard gray" version. Only the trim (outside perimeter) and the sides of the corner vents are CF.

That avatar pic was Monterey Bay, where I did 3 tandem jumps, mostly to amuse my then teenage daughter.
My sport was hang gliding, of which I did 3 years on weekends in the '90s.
Great fun, once got in a thermal for a bit with two red tail hawks off my wing tip.
Grampa now at 69, too late for any more of that.
