Default unidentified object

I was under my 928 last night poking around and saw this wedged in a tight space near the bell housing.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Trash or part of my car?

Inside the engine bay, right side looking at car from front, just in front of the air cleaner housing, there is a plug terminal...and that is the cap. The little tab (that is torn-off) use to connect it to the plug terminal...before it rotted away.

Default Picture...

Just behind the last manifold runner (drivers side), in front of the air cleaner housing (inch to the right of the air cleaner housing strap)...you can see the top of it.

Some sort of diagnostic port or something, no longer used...but the cap keeps it nice inside.

Hey, if you get to poke around underneath...I should be able to poke around under the hood...lol.

Just know what it is...because as I was finishing up my fuel lines and intake refresh...I knocked it off. So, off came the air cleaner housing...again...to retrieve.

My brain was still absorbing its first cup of coffee at the time...there is quite a bit of "time lag" going on between brain and fingers until it is totally processed...lol.

That's the only thing I hate about myself...is my dependency on caffeine.

Now, my wife...she has quite the list...lol.
