Am I getting my #s wrong wife's car is a 981 which I thought was a Boxster S Gen 3 car?
Next thing I am stating that the turn in is excellent but once in the turn the back is easy to break loose by just applying throttle or over G the car. Based on my experience which is considerable on P cars and racing the 997 and 991 series have more grip that's all I was stating.

I would assume the term ''sweeper'' is being misused.
Sweeper, to me, is a long, gentle and usually flat-out curve. If your 981 is getting out of shape at 35 mph on these, then you likely have a couple of flat rear tires.....

I would like to know the radius of that "sweeper" to be able to calcuate what G's are being pulled at 35mph when the tires break traction. Just curious.
I find the traction limits in my CGTS are very high on dry surface - at much higher speeds than that. But it all depends on the radius of the corner in question, of course.

The Pirellis will make any car look bad.
I've tracked my Cayman for three years and the grip with good tires installed is fantastic. RE-11s if you want streets, NT01s if you use Rcomps. The Pirellis on my Spyder are very weak performers.

pirelli's are an incredibly overrated high end tire... i think porsche only puts them on some of their new cars as an oem to keep michelin, dunlop and bridgestone on their toes from a purchasing perspective
