Karma's a bitch. I bought it just so you couldn't. Maybe you should think twice before you put people down in random for sale threads.

Oh you know bouts of wit all around... Weeks ago we got into it because he was beating someone up on price in their for sale thread. He went all the way to say that he felt sorry for me because my house looked inexpensive and that I probably pose to look good in my 996's when I have a poor boy house etc etc.
It was so bad that I thought he was going to start with "Yo, mama..." jokes.
Then I called him pathetic a few times. Then time passed...
This morning...
I commented on a for sale thread for a $200k asking GT2...
I said this
"I've actually been think about things to spend my money on. Decisions, Decisions..."
He responded with this...
That's what made posting this earlier so rewarding. RSA has a the cash in king mentality. He wrote me a long PM on how he was going to negotiate with me on a car that I had for sale prior to even building the relationship.
I didn't buy this second white on natural brown car for any other reason than it was a great car. It popped up for sale and I sealed the deal. Rubbing it in as a response to his immaturity in other threads was simply the cherry on top.

.. to say nothing of the fact that 911-AL seems to trade ( and presumably ) enjoy in and out of first rate and well sorted 996 turbo's and is a long time respected and valuable member of *both* boards....

It's all good. We have to all laugh at how silly forum business gets sometimes. We all love and have the same problem of buying these beautiful machines. RSA will find something nice!

I probably have the rattiest house where any 996 Turbo is garaged. (Note I didn't say least valuable, Bay Area and all.)
Though I have memories of going to pick up a 930 at a customer's house in East Oakland when I was running shop #2 during law school. THAT was something never to be unseen.

But, bigger picture is that I don't sell things. Learned long, long, long ago when I did trade around a bit more that no matter how I represented something, or priced it (generally at the bottom of the market), the buyers out there moan, bitch, and whine about everything imaginable. Maybe it was entertaining in my 20s trying to please guys. In my 50s, just don't need the headache. I drive them until they're trashed. (Why I have the five, maybe six, non-runners now.)
