Dundon Motorsports 997.1/.2 Header/Airbox Group Buy?
Hi All,
Seeing if there interest from 5-10 Rennlisters for a group buy on Dundon Race headers and the Dundon Dual Cone Carbon Airbox.
At 5 we can do a package for 997.1 or 997.2 GT3/RS Race Headers and Dual Cone Carbon Airbox at $9000.00, this is an $1800.00 savings.
If 10 want to do it, we'll knock it down to $8800.00 for the package. $2000 off!
Lastly, for those who want the full 4.0RS meal deal we have a new decklid that I'm getting pics of tomorrow along with a 4.0RS dual cone airbox, will work for either 997.2 or 997.1!
997.1 3.6L Dundon Race Headers and High Flow Air Filters (Dual Cone Airbox) dyno
997.1 Dundon Race Headers and Carbon Dual Cone airbox
997.2 GT3RS Dundon Race Headers and Dual Cone Airbox
997.2 GT3RS Dundon Race headers and high flow air box
997.1 3.6L Single opening Dual Cone Airbox
3.8L Dual Cone Airbox
4.0L Dual cone Airbox
Picture to be added
Dundon Race Headers, Flapped Side Connectors

I would be interested, but in a catted version.
Some questions:
1 - How far out is the catted version?
2- Are the headers identical between the .1 and .2?
3- If I install them on the 3.6 and eventually do a SW 3.9 will these leave any gains on the table?
4- What are the gains for the airbox alone on a .1 and .2?
5 - Do any of the vehicles used for your dyno graphs above have a tune?

1 - How far out is the catted version?
GT4 is first, then catted 991, then catted 997. We've been figuring ways to do them as we work on the others, so the development should go quick. We're also closing the shop 3 days a week to speed the development.
2- Are the headers identical between the .1 and .2?
That's the difference we bring to the market, our headers are different for 997.1 3.6L/997.2 GT3 3.8L , 997.2 GT3RS 3.8L/4.0L (including all bore 4.0L), and last big bore with other VE mods.
It's important to tailor the size and design of the header to the cylinder pressure, head design etc of the engine to maximize the benefit.
3- If I install them on the 3.6 and eventually do a SW 3.9 will these leave any gains on the table? I think our 3.6L would do better than others on a 3.9L, but our 997.2 3.8/4.0 would do better.
4- What are the gains for the airbox alone on a .1 and .2?
.1 airbox no tune, no exhaust mods is in the 6-8whp range
.2RS airbox no tune, no exhaust mods is in the 7-9whp range
5 - Do any of the vehicles used for your dyno graphs above have a tune? The .1RS no, the .2RS had a Cobb stage 1 on it, good for about 1-2 whp over the hard parts. We added a 4.0RS plenum to that car and a custom tune (not Cobb) to get another 10whp on top of what was shown.
