FS: Jager GTS Chrome Tip Shifter - Red and Short Boot
Hello Gentlemen,
I am selling the old Jager shift handle and short boot from the Red Witch. I have installed new ones out of personal choice. There is nothing wrong with these.
The PO ordered these in June 2002, I have the original invoice. They were:
928A015-RED GTS Chrome Tip Shifter - Red
920A020-BLK Short Shift Boot
The handle is chrome top, red leather grip, and black base. The boot is black leather with black stitching. The handle felt quite nice to grip.
Both are in excellent condition. The leather boot is not torn or scuffed, and none of the stitching has pulled out. The leather is still quite supple, though it has taken a bit of a set. The leather grip is not damaged, though it shows a little patina from use. The chrome top is very lightly scratched from use, though you have to look closely. There is one flaw: the chrome top is a little loose on the handle. If I were keeping it, I would carefully remove the top, apply a quality adhesive, and reinstall. While researching Jager shift handles, I ran across a few posts from 2007-08 mentioning something similar. They did just that.
Included in this sale is the following:
-shift handle
-original black lower sealing cap
-chrome sealing cap from my new shift handle
-black button shift rod actuator from my new shift handle (I kept the aluminum one for my new shift handle.)
-allen wrench for tightening the set screws on the handle
-instructions for both the handle and the boot
-invoice for both
Feel free to ask any and all questions! $50 takes the handle and the boot. I will have them at SITM if you want to pick them up there.
